A huge topic in our pacific islands is the harmful chemicals found in most sunscreens. Luckily our Maui County Council are in the process of banning the harmful chemical Oxybenzone from sale, use, and distribution. We encourage local companies that take the critical steps towards a healthy lifestyle. Using reef-safe ingredients like zinc oxide, you're protecting yourself, and our reefs. Our reefs play a main role in the balance of life, and remains a main resource for our traditional families, and fishermen. 

Raw Love is made for people just like Jenna (owner, & dive instructor, ocean lover) who love to dive, surf, swim, paddle, hike and adventure in the sun with friends in tow. Sun protection is something we all use on a regular basis and we started to question what the long-term repercussions of spreading these chemical cocktails onto our skin would be. In an attempt to avoid ever having to answer that question, we designed a non-toxic sunscreen with high quality ingredients that is safe for everyday use.
