This will be our hardest come-back, & the crisis is far from over. many ʻOhana, friends, family, & neighbors are still missing & the #ʻs will rise.
The lost lives confirmed are currently at 115. Moe Me Ka Maluhia. Rest In Peace.
Overwelming times as our island & Maui ʻOhana face the largest disaster in History.
The most important thing in your disaster kit is community, & aloha for eachother while enduring this tradegy.
There is no power, water, or cell service, Red Lightning is currently helping set up starlings across Maui Komohana (West Maui).
Support Connectivity for West Maui Residents.
SUPPORT THIS ORGANIZATION FOR THEIR ENDLESS ALOHA, AND SUPPORT TO RE-CONNECT OUR LOVED ONES, CALL OUT FOR SUPPLIES, AND ENSURE THE SAFETY OF OUR SURVIVORS, ELDERS, CHILDREN & COMMUNITY.
The past two weeks have been fueled by community support from across the islands, as
helicopters, boats, & authorized personel are taking supplies to Lāhainā families.
"As kānaka, there are truly no words to describe the devastation and immeasurable losses in Lahaina, a national historic landmark, historic district, and former capital of the Hawaiian Kingdom. Lahaina holds some of the most historically significant cultural properties and highest-ranking sacred remains of our ancestors. There is so much history that will be forever lost, a history that tethers all of us, young and old, not only to the ʻāina, but to ourselves and to each other.
The fires are in part due to the climate crisis, a history of colonialism in our islands, and the loss of our right to steward our ʻāina and wai. We have watched our precious cultural assets, our physical connection to our ancestors, our places of remembering – all go up in smoke. The same western forces that tried to erase us as a people now threaten our survival with their destructive practices."

Central Maui drop off sites are posted, businesses are getting ready to enter with restoration efforts & ʻohana are still trying to comprehend this great loss.
One thing is for certain, this island community will heal, but it will take a lot of work & time.
Mahalo to everyone who is working around the clock to serve the needs of our people!
East Maui is here for Lahainā & all impacted, weʻre sending support in all ways possible.
Ke Aloha no MAUI

War Memorial Complex open today and Thursday as dropoff center for emergency shelter donations
Lahaina, Pulehu and Upcountry Fires Combined Update No. 5: War Memorial Complex is open today and Thursday as a dropoff center for donations for emergency shelters housing fire evacuees on Maui.
Non-perishable food, bottled water, hygiene items and blankets are being accepted. Those wishing to donate should enter the complex through Kanaloa Avenue and drop off donations at the field on the left. The dropoff center will be open through 6 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday.
Fire stations are unable to accept donations for shelters.
Firefighting crews are continuing to battle fires in Lahaina, Pulehu and Upcountry that were fueled by strong winds from Hurricane Dora as it passed well south of the Hawaiian islands.
More than 2,100 people were housed overnight Tuesday in four emergency shelters that were set up at Maui Prepatory Academy in Napili, Maui High School in Kahului, War Memorial Center and Hannibal Tavares Community Center in Pukalani.
