Keʻanae Kalo Farmers were once the biggest exporter for Hawaiian Kalo. These taro patches still exsist today, as the Koʻolau Mountains feeds these fields.
Hawaiians of Old remember the days when almost every patch was open stretching to our Keʻanae Church.
Today we celebrate the restoration of loʻi (taro patches) and strive to open all patches in our ʻOhana for our generations to come.
